Do you want to introduce some competitiveness to your Winter short
game practice?
• Do you want to practice in one
of the best driving centres in the country?
• Do you want to have a bit of craic
with your friends during the long Winter nights?
Then join us in The Grange Driving Range this Winter and possibly
win some prizes while picking up some tips from our resident professionals
(complimentary for participating teams).
If you are interested all you have to do
is:
• Put together a team of five golfers (4 will compete in
any one week)
• 2 players must have a handicap of up to 10
• At least two players to have a handicap of over 10
• 1 sub to be used when required (GUI and society handicap
accepted. If you have neither we will give you one)
• If you cannot form a team we will organise one for you
Each week there will be:
• Various target competitions – 50, 100 and 130 yards
approx
• Putting competition
Points will be awarded each week with monthly winners moving
on to a grand final in March 2010.
Reduced prices for a bucket of balls for your warm up on nights
of competition.
Cost of entry is €150 per team of five players payable on
night of registration (special offers available on this night).

RULES
1. Each team will comprise five players (male or female or mixed)
* 2 players must have a handicap of below 10
* at least two players must have a handicap of above 10
2. Sub can have a handicap of any of above.
3. GUI and Golf Society handicaps accepted (if you do not have
one we will give you one).
4. Each week there will be targets set up from 100 yards to 130
yards with points awarded for nearest the bull in each category.
5. Each week there will be a putting competition over five holes
based on a stableford system of scoring.
6. Each member of each team will compete in all disciplines each
week
7. Scores for each team member will be added together to give
an overall team score for that week.
8. Each team captain will be responsible for the return of all
score cards to the tournament referee on the night of competition.
No exceptions.
9. Following four weeks of competition the team with the most
points will qualify for the semi finals in March 2010. Semi final
will take place in early March and the Final will take place in
late March.
10. Balls for the competition are complimentary.
11. On competition nights there will be a reduction in price for
a bucket of balls for warm up purposes.
12. Each team will receive complimentary tips and advice from
our resident professionals.
